Chris Magic camp teaches students how to perform highly deceptive magic tricks (that easily fool adults) using sleight of hand, mathematical principles, psychology, and misdirection. There is no large apparatus to buy; this magic is taught using common, everyday articles: coins, rope, balls, and normal decks of cards.

But magic tricks are merely the medium for the more important lessons for the group. As well as instruction in the deeper meaning of magic and art in general, students learn, most importantly, mental and social skills that can help them for the rest of their lives.
Your child will learn such skills as: speaking before large groups of people, voice projection, working with a partner, working in large groups, learning respect and courtesy for other artists, critiquing art in a positive manner, acting, appropriate comedy, philosophical and psychological concepts, intuitive thinking, the imaginative process, and how to teach others.

Magic camp can take place anywhere there are children interested in learning the Art of Magic. Schools, summer camps, day care centers and recreation programs have all hosted one or more Mystery Academy sessions. The minimum number of children needed to sign up for the program is 10, and in order to insure a small student to teacher ratio, class sizes normally are limited to 20, (though multiple classes are certainly possible).
Children learn from a Master and really get involved in the mystery of magic.

As a former educator  Carol can bring learning and laughter to children with her Safari show. Carol is in a Safari character - not in clown make up.  It involves lots of comedy, audience participation, magic, music , a large balloon creation and live animals- an African Hedgehog, hamsters racing in cars and a  tiny performing doggy . All are non-shedding animals and  are contained in cages. If you like, children may pet the animals and Bingo brings a hand sanitizer for them. However, children enjoy just seeing them perform.  Bingo encourages reading and shows the children Jan Brett's books which include a Hedgehog. Bingo can also demo giant bubbles outside or inside with towels on the floor.

This is a great show for all ages and can be like an in house field trip!
